The National Trust - Peace in Nature and History
So – another New Year is upon us! The days are cold, but on a bright winters day, there is nothing better than a good walk in nature to clear the head and keep us healthy. I just thought this month I’d celebrate the National Trust, by sharing some photos from a lovely afternoon I spent at Petworth House and Deer Park last weekend.

This month is quite a personal blog. September has been all about having to let go of people, places and things I love so very much. I’ve had to dig deep, take lots of deep breaths, keep the faith that things are going in the direction they are supposed to, and just keep going!

Desperately Seeking New Home and De-Cluttering
With my daughter leaving home for university this September, my financial situation is changing too. So this, along with the ever-rising cost of living, and the fact my landlord is selling up, means I shortly have to move from our beautiful ‘gingerbread house’ rental property after 5 years.

Mental Health Matters!
Mental Health Awareness Week has just fallen this month in the UK (from 15th-21st May), so I thought it might be good to write a piece, to remind everyone to make sure you schedule time in your life, every single day, to support your mental health. Keeping that strong, is the key to coping with everything else, and we should always make it a priority.

Shake off those Winter Blues and Step into Spring!
It has felt like a long winter this year. It is so lovely to now at last see the signs of warmer days and lighter evenings. As the daffodils, tulips, primroses and bluebells all come out, along with them all the beautiful blossoms and stunning magnolias, it is a wonderful time to get out into nature.

How do we stay Motivated?
I have had many clients tell me this month that they are currently struggling with motivation. The cold, winter months are tiring, and seem to last such a long time, and trying to find the energy to keep going can be difficult at this time of year.

Cleansing and Nourishing our Skins with Essential Oils
February comes from the Latin word “februa”, which means “to cleanse”. The month was named after the Roman Februalia, which was a month-long festival of purification and atonement that took place this time of year.

Living with Grief
Many people in this country and others have felt great loss at the passing of Queen Elizabeth II this month. Her funeral yesterday, and the great numbers of people that visited London and her other homes in the lead up to it, were a reminder of how people can come together to support one another, and share in a moment of sadness, reflection and shared loss.
