A Derbyshire Diary!

Hi all. So this month brought huge change for me as I moved home and business, up to the beautiful Derbyshire Dales.

I have started renting a lovely (and very old!) little cottage, and all the new neighbours have been very welcoming. It has been strange being so far away from my family, friends and clients, but it has also been lovely being nearer to my daughter who I’ve managed to catch up with twice this month!

I have started work at the stunning ‘Botanicals’ clinic in Bakewell. Do take a look at their website: www.botanicals-bakewell.co.uk . I have been mainly working on front of house dealing with client bookings, manning the phone and replying to emails etc., whilst my client list grows, but have started treating clients too. I am offering Bespoke Body Massage currently, but we are also hoping to add Hot Stones Aromatherapy Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Indian Head Massage, and Thai Foot Massage to my list soon.

In addition to that I am going to be trained in their Facial treatments so I can start offering those. Their therapists have been very welcoming and helpful as I find my feet here. Starting somewhere new can be quite daunting and challenging (especially when you have run your own business for over 21 years!) but it is also nice being part of a team, working with other therapists from different work backgrounds and experiences.

They are one of the few clinics I know to have been awarded the ‘Soil Association’ accreditation, and their products are used by many amazing practitioners, spas and other customers such as Claridge’s Hotel in Mayfair!
