Another New Beginning...

This month saw me move out of my lovely rental property in Derbyshire, and move in with my wonderful parents for a while back down in Surrey, and start to re-connect with family and friends here, whilst setting up my lovely new treatment space in Holmbury St. Mary.

It has been really great to spend some time with my lovely mum and dad in my first couple of weeks back. I’ve been spoilt with mums dinners too, which has been wonderful! Great to see my sister and her boyfriend again, and my cousin, her husband and their little boy this week, as well as a few friends. Hoping to catch up with many, many more really soon!

It’s hard being much further away from my daughter now again, but I’m glad that she’ll be back with us for Christmas this year – not long to go now. I’m going to try and get up to Leeds to visit her once a month from January too, so that we continue to have that precious time together. Hopefully I’ll be able to drop in and catch up with my Derbyshire friends during those weekends too.

It has been SO good to get back to treating my own wonderfully loyal clients back down here, in my lovely new treatment space. It’s been pretty emotional too after being gone for almost 8 months! Some tears from me and some from them too! Everyone has been so very kind…all saying the same thing “So sorry it didn’t work out for you in Derbyshire, but also so glad you’re home”, which has been really lovely to hear. I am so incredibly grateful for their loyalty and patience! It is truly wonderful and humbling to have so many of them back with me.

The new treatment space is working really well. It’s in a lovely position – very quiet and just the right size room – plenty big enough but also small enough to still be cosy. I have a lovely double size room with a really nice ensuite bathroom, and free parking for myself and clients too, so its perfect. All the clients that have come so far since re-opening my doors on the 19th November, have said they love the space, so I’m really happy about that. Client comfort is absolutely paramount in this business, and I think this will be a great space for Soul Space’s next chapter, and for all my clients to enjoy.

The new premises is only a 12-15 minute drive from Cranleigh depending which end of the village you are coming from (!) and even nearer to Ewhurst as its that end of the village. It is only 15 minutes to Dorking too, and around 20 minutes to Guildford, so is centrally located for the surrounding villages and small towns.

There is an onsite coffee bar here too, so daytime clients can also enjoy a coffee before or after their session if they want to! It is generally open from 8am to 3pm most days. This is run by the son of the owner of the properties here, who also owns the coffee bar at Knowle Park in Cranleigh called ‘Heartwork Coffee’.

Once I am settled here, I will be looking to start making up some of my lovely handblended Aromatherapy Products again in the new year, which I will make in small batches to ensure their freshness and efficacy. I will post these on my Facebook pages when they are available to purchase.

If there is anything in particular you would like, do let me know so that I can ensure I have the right base products and bottles or jars in, to fulfil your requirements. I have already had a request for some of my small roll-on Aromatherapy Blend bottles, so will definitely be making some of those up! Do have a look on the product page on my website for more ideas.

I am looking for some more new clients now, to expand the business here – particularly those that can do daytimes, as I only have a couple of regular evening slots left!
